-SSP Dr. Pragya Jain Flags Off 11 New Emergency Response Vehicles:
\nFaridkot (Alexander D’Souza): Taking a significant stride towards realizing the vision of a ‘Safe Punjab’-envisioned by Punjab Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann and DGP Shri Gaurav Yadav-the Faridkot Police have introduced a major initiative. Today, District Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Pragya Jain inducted 11 new, ultra-modern Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) into the district police fleet and dispatched them for field operations.
\n‘Quick Response’ Available via Dial-112
\nThe induction of these vehicles is set to completely transform the policing infrastructure within the district. SSP Dr. Pragya Jain stated that the primary objective of these vehicles is to significantly reduce the police response time to complaints received via the ‘Dial-112’ emergency helpline.
\nThese vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and technology, which will enable field units to take immediate action when required.
\nPolicing at the ground level is set to become more professional and robust.
\nA 24×7 Security Shield: Deployment Across All Sub-Divisions
\nWhile addressing the police personnel, the SSP issued strict directives to ensure that, upon receiving any emergency alert, they reach the scene in the shortest possible time. She emphasized that public safety remains their utmost priority. These vehicles will be deployed round-the-clock across all sub-divisions of the district to further reinforce the sense of security among the general public.
\nEnhanced Coordination Between Police and Public:
\nThis technological initiative is expected to not only help curb crime but also foster improved communication and coordination between the police force and the public.
\nPresent on the occasion alongside the SSP were SP (Local) Shri Manwinder Bir Singh, DSP (Local) Shri Naveen Kumar, and other senior officials.
